Why to Order from the Online Shop?

“Why to order from the online shop?” is an article that does not want to claim that ordering from an online shop is the only and right way to purchase, but it tries to explain certain nuances to which people do not pay attention daily.

“There are no proper toy shops near our residence”
The fast development and wide spread of internet has given to people living in farther regions the possibility to choose from the same range of products and to use them the same way as someone who lives in a bigger city, and there is even no need to leave home. The only things that are needed is a computer, internet and customer card of an internet bank. Ordering goods is a quick process, the only things that have to be done is to choose the product, add it to cart and submit the order. The whole process takes less than fifteen minutes (depending on how quickly the suitable product(s) is/are chosen) and the person can do his or her everyday activities for the rest of the day. Is this not convenient?

“Oh, there are so many things to do and I have to go also to the toy shop…”
Ordering from internet is a suitable solution for people with fast-paced lifestyle. Working days can be very long, sometimes people have to work late in the evening and there is no time to arrive at the shop before closing time. But when ordering from internet, it makes no difference whether to do it early in the morning during drinking coffee, at mid-day at the office or late in the evening while reading online newspapers. The internet shop accepts orders 24 hours a day and the goods will be delivered at the suitable address, be it home, office, etc.

“But when ordering from internet, the cost of transport of 2.9 to 7,8 Euros will be added!?”
This is true, to purchases under 100 Euros, the cost of transport of 2.9 to 7,8 Euros will be added. But does this make ordering from internet more expensive than purchasing from the shop?

First of all, the reader could ask him(her)self: “How do I value my free time?” That is a good question – how to value it? Let us describe one possibility. At work, the working hour equals a certain number of Euros, e.g., 5, meaning you earn 5 Euros in one hour. If the value of your free time would be the same as the value of the working time, then every hour of your free time is worth 5 Euros. I am convinced that the readers of the article value their free time much more highly than the time spent at work – I for instance do.

Secondly, all car owners know that we have rather high fuel prices (at the moment of writing this article, the price of 98 Ultima sulphur-free fuel in Statoil was 1 Euros and 24 cents). If a car consumes on average 10 litres for 100 kilometres in the city, then the cost of 1 kilometre would be 0.13 cents. The average distance of the toy shop in a big city (depending on the location) or to-and-from driving can definitely be about 14 km, thus the cost of transport is about 2 Euros in total.

If the shopping takes for example at least one hour of free time, together with traffic jams, standing in queue and parking, and this was equal to 5 Euros in this article, in addition to fuel cost of 2 Euros – it makes 7 Euros in total. Thus it can be said that the cost of transport, the additional 2.9 to 7,8 Euros (if the purchase is under 100 Euros) in case of purchasing from internet, is not at all too much. And if the order exceeds 100 Euros (no cost of transport) – this is already a gain!

“To the toy shop with the child? Help!”
Shopping with a child might not always be a very pleasant experience, especially if the shop is a toy shop. If it was for the child to decide, (s)he would buy all the things available in the toy shop. And cases when a child throws him(her)self down to get something are not rare.
The previous paragraph was definitely familiar to some readers and such behaviour has perhaps even caused embarrassment. By ordering from internet, you can calmly choose the product you want, add it to cart, submit the order and surprise your child!

Hopefully, the readers of this article gained some inspiration from it and now think that ordering from internet is not a bad idea at all.
